How To Reapply Actual Leather Dye To An Aniline Leather Couch
You reapply the dye remembering that actual leather dye takes on the colour its being applied over i.e: the darker spots will still be darker after the dye is applied. You can apply one or two coats around these areas to build the colour before applying coats over the darker areas to even this out a little.
Basically you need to wash the leather down well with Leather Prep, apply the Dye then Top Coat Sealer for added wear properties.
1lt Leather Prep
500mL- 1lt Leather Dye. This will depend on how thirsty your leather is. That you won’t know until you start.
500mL Leather Sealer. Applied in light, even coats otherwise it will go milky.
