Part of the eMoMo 3MTR range, it provides powered linear movement to adjust a matching furniture headrest.

Choose this motor by matching your original actuator reference and installation, not by appearance alone. Correct mounting dimensions, travel and electrical connections are essential for a suitable replacement.

Specifications

Brand: eMoMo

Range: 3MTR

Model / part reference: 3MR124-112Z

Application: electric headrest actuator motor

Input: 29V DC, 2A

Maximum push force: 800N

Rated speed: 10mm/s

Duty cycle: 1 minute on / 8 minutes off

Connection: two-pin plug; compare the connector shape and pin arrangement with your original

Check headrest compatibility

Compare the 3MR124-112Z model reference with your original headrest motor. Check the mounting points, retracted mounting length, required stroke, connector keying and wiring. A matching voltage or similar-looking housing alone does not confirm compatibility.

The 800N push rating describes the actuator’s force, not a person’s weight capacity. Follow the specified intermittent duty cycle rather than operating the motor continuously.

For help identifying your replacement, contact CouchGuard with clear photos of the original motor label, plug and headrest mounting points.

Frequently asked questions

What is this motor used for?

The eMoMo 3MR124-112Z is used to adjust a compatible electric headrest mechanism.

What model should I match?

Match the exact reference 3MR124-112Z, as well as the mounting dimensions, travel and connections. The broader 3MTR range name alone is not enough to select a replacement.

What are its electrical and performance ratings?

The motor is rated 29V DC, 2A, with a maximum push force of 800N and a rated speed of 10mm/s.

Can this headrest motor run continuously?

No. Its duty cycle is 1 minute on followed by 8 minutes off.

Will it fit every electric headrest?

No. Headrest mechanisms can have different travel, mounting arrangements and wiring. Confirm that your installation matches before ordering.

Will a new actuator fix an unresponsive headrest?

Not necessarily. Faults can also involve the switch, wiring or control system. Diagnose the fault before replacing the motor.

How should the actuator be replaced safely?

Disconnect electricity and any battery backup before working on the mechanism. Support moving sections securely and keep wiring clear of pinch points. Use a qualified furniture repair technician if you are unsure about diagnosis or installation.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0965/8302/4772/files/B33B9B02-CA09-4D39-BAD7-B2CE7A694D42.jpg?v=1792722342
