Chendi YT01-05-29-494.335-25 lift chair actuator motor. Label: DC 29V, 55W, 1500N max load and max 2 min on/18 min off. Check mounting and connections.

Description

Chendi YT01-05-29-494.335-25 lift chair actuator motor

A Chendi linear actuator for a matching lift-chair mechanism. Its photographed label identifies the exact model as YT01-05-29-494.335-25. Compare the label, mounting ends and full cable arrangement with the original rather than choosing by appearance alone.

Label specifications

  • Model: YT01-05-29-494.335-25
  • Rated voltage: DC 29V
  • Rated input: 55W
  • Maximum load: 1500N
  • Duty cycle: maximum 10%, maximum 2 minutes on followed by 18 minutes off

The existing listing describes a round five-pin connection and separate two-pin O/I cable. The connector close-up appears shared with another product, so compare your original connectors rather than relying on that photo for exact wiring. Speed, stroke, closed and extended dimensions and an IP rating are not established from this label.

Compatibility checks

Check the exact model, mounting ends, original installation length, required travel and each control-box connection. A matching force rating or similar-looking plug alone does not establish fit. Send CouchGuard clear photos of the old label, both ends and plugs if unsure.

How to replace a lift-chair actuator

  1. Disconnect power. Unplug the chair from the wall and disconnect any battery backup. Do not work on the actuator while the chair is powered.
  2. Support the moving sections. Keep the backrest and footrest securely supported so they cannot drop or shift when the actuator is detached. Keep fingers clear of pinch points; use a qualified chair technician if safe support is uncertain.
  3. Record the original setup. Photograph the model label, both mounting ends, pin or retaining-clip positions, cable routing and each connector before disconnecting anything. Compare the replacement's installation length, travel, ends and plugs with the original.
  4. Remove and refit. With the chair supported and power off, disconnect the old plugs and release its mounting retainers. Fit the replacement in the same orientation using the correct existing hardware and secure both ends. Do not force misaligned holes, alter wiring or substitute an unmatched connector.
  5. Route and reconnect. Keep cables clear of the moving mechanism and pinch points, then reconnect only to matching original control-box connections.
  6. Test carefully. Restore power only after tools and hands are clear. Briefly test the chair's movement and stop immediately if it binds, moves unexpectedly or a cable catches. Respect the label's maximum 2-minute-on/18-minute-off duty cycle.

This is general replacement guidance, not a model-specific wiring diagram. If the mechanism, mounting or connector does not match, stop and consult a qualified repairer rather than modifying the part.

Frequently asked questions

What duty cycle is marked? Maximum 10%, maximum 2 minutes on and 18 minutes off.

Can it replace another YT01 actuator with the same plug? Not without checking the exact model, mounting dimensions, travel and wiring.
