Before Ordering

Check the model number, connector shape, pin configuration, mounting points, and cable layout on your existing motor before ordering. A matching connector alone does not guarantee compatibility. If you are unsure, send us clear photos of the motor label, connector, and mounting ends, along with the lounge brand and model.

Installation Notes

Disconnect the chair from power before replacing the motor. Photograph the existing cable connections, remove the old actuator, install the replacement in the same orientation, reconnect the wiring, and test the chair through its full range of movement before use.

No unfortunately. Pegar handles have been obsolete for many years and we don’t stock any cables suitable.

How do you measure a recliner spring?

Recliner springs are measured by the overall length. You’ll find a break down of each recliner spring on each of the products pages. Simply click or tap on the “Measuring” tab.

Can I get a different shade brown?

No. There is only 1 colour brown available worldwide. There is no choice what shade of brown it is sorry.

My recliner handle measures 113mm x 70mm. Will your handles still fit?

Yes. There can be a couple mm tolerances in the measurements given.

My recliner handle measures 11cm x 7cm. Will your handles still fit?

Yes. Converted to millimetres is 110mm x 70mm.

How do you measure a recliner cable? You need to remove the trigger and cable from the recliner, disconnect the cable from the handle and use the Cable Cheat Sheet that is on the website.

How do I measure a recliner cable?

Click or Tap on the “Measuring” tab on the products page and follow the Cable Cheat Sheet to measure your cable correctly. Make sure you disconnect your cable from the handle before measuring. If you cable has broken the barrel off of the end, simply add that measurement, 3.5 or 6mm to the overall length measurement.

• Check The Power Supply Green Light Is ON
• Check the leads for damage
• Check the switch isn’t faulty
• Check the actuator in another recliner

All these checks can be done on another recliner and may save you hundreds of dollars doing so.

All of the actuators supplied are rigorously tested by the manufacture prior to leaving their facility. If a defect becomes apparent within 6 (six) months after taking delivery of the actuator, it will be refutably assumed that the defect already existed in the actuator, unless such an assumption with the nature of either the object of the delivery or the defect.
