Check compatibility before ordering
Compare the full KDYJT018-424 model number and MOT-AC-61 reference with your original label. Also check stroke, retracted mounting distance, mounting ends, connector shape, contact layout and wiring. A shared KDYJT018 family number or similar-looking motor does not establish interchangeability.
This listing is for the 424 model. Do not assume it replaces KDYJT018-425 or another suffix without checking the installation. Contact CouchGuard with clear photos of your original label, mounting ends and plugs if you need help selecting the part.
Installation and use
The actuator is supplied with the attached connection cable shown. Disconnect mains and backup power before replacing it, support the mechanism securely and keep hands clear of pinch points. Match connections without forcing plugs and route cables away from moving parts. Use a qualified repairer if unsure.
Observe the labelled duty cycle and allow the required rest period. Do not open the actuator housing; its label cautions against opening by unauthorised personnel. Power-supply, switch and wiring faults can also cause a recliner to stop moving.
