Description
Genuine Mulin ML12-013 recliner headrest actuator
The Mulin ML12-013 actuator/motor is usually used in electric recliner headrests. Its 50 mm stroke provides linear movement in a matching mechanism. It has a single two-pin I0 connection. Match your original model, mounting points, dimensions and electrical connection before ordering; this is not a universal-fit motor.
Manufacturer-label specifications
- Model: ML12-013, within the ML12 series.
- Input: DC 28V 1.5A.
- Stroke: 50 mm.
- Speed: 15 mm/s.
- Maximum actuator load: 1000 N. This is not a chair occupant-weight rating.
- Indoor use only.
- Connect only to a matching Class II adapter DC output, as specified on the label.
Connection and compatibility checks
This actuator has one two-pin I0 connection. Compare the connector face, polarity and wiring route with your original actuator. Plug-and-play replacement applies only when the original electrical system and mechanical installation match.
- Match the full ML12-013 model, not only the ML12 family.
- Compare the 50 mm stroke and retracted and extended mounting-point distances.
- Check mounting ends, fixing positions, clearance and the single two-pin I0 connection.
- Match the original electrical requirements; do not select solely by stroke or load rating.
If unsure, send CouchGuard clear photos of the original model label, complete actuator, mounting points and connector face for help identifying a suitable replacement.
Fault checks and safe replacement
A headrest that will not move does not by itself confirm actuator failure. The power supply, switch, cables or mechanism may also need checking. Disconnect mains power and any battery supply before replacement. Keep clear of moving mechanisms and use a qualified repairer if you cannot safely support or repair the chair. Do not force connectors, modify wiring or connect the actuator directly to mains power.

Will it fit every recliner headrest?
No. Match the exact model, stroke, mounting dimensions, fixing ends and electrical connection.
