Genuine Mulin ML12-038 recliner headrest actuator

The Mulin ML12-038 is a replacement electric actuator motor for matching recliner headrest installations. Its 95 mm stroke provides linear movement in a compatible mechanism. Supplied with a male power lead and one two-pin I0 connection, it requires matching mounts, dimensions and wiring; it is not a universal-fit motor.

These closed dimensions are supplied by CouchGuard and are separate from the label-backed 95 mm stroke. The 260 mm overall length is not the mounting distance. Compare your original using the same reference points, along with fixing ends, extended clearance and connector layout. Match the complete ML12-038 reference, not just the ML12 family or a similar-looking motor.

Connection

The connector photo shows a male two-pin I0 power plug with one flat and one round pin. Compare the connector face, polarity and cable routing with the original. Plug-and-play replacement applies only when the electrical system and mechanical installation match.

Fault checks and safe replacement

A non-moving headrest does not by itself confirm actuator failure. The switch, power supply, cables or mechanism may also need checking. No. There is only 1 colour brown available worldwide. There is no choice what shade of brown it is sorry.

My recliner handle measures 113mm x 70mm. Will your handles still fit?

Yes. There can be a couple mm tolerances in the measurements given.

My recliner handle measures 11cm x 7cm. Will your handles still fit?

Yes. Converted to millimetres is 110mm x 70mm.

How do you measure a recliner cable? You need to remove the trigger and cable from the recliner, disconnect the cable from the handle and use the Cable Cheat Sheet that is on the website.

How do I measure a recliner cable?

Click or Tap on the “Measuring” tab on the products page and follow the Cable Cheat Sheet to measure your cable correctly. Make sure you disconnect your cable from the handle before measuring. If you cable has broken the barrel off of the end, simply add that measurement, 3.5 or 6mm to the overall length measurement.
