Description
Description
Genuine Mulin ML16-094 recliner actuator
The Mulin ML16-094 is a replacement electric actuator motor for matching recliner installations. Its manufacturer label reads ML16-094 (ML16-094A), with a 215 mm stroke and 9 mm/s speed. The supplied lead has one male round five-pin 90-degree plug. Match your original motor and installation before ordering; similar appearance does not establish compatibility.
Manufacturer-label specifications
- Primary model: ML16-094; ML16-094A also appears in parentheses on the photographed label.
- Input: DC 28V 1.5A.
- Stroke: 215 mm.
- Speed: 9 mm/s.
- Maximum actuator load: 6000 N. This is not the chair's occupant-weight rating.
- Indoor use only.
- Connect only to a matching Class II adapter DC output, as specified on the label.
Connection and fit checks
The connector photo shows a male round five-pin plug with a 90-degree cable exit. Compare connector orientation, pin arrangement, wiring and clearance with your original installation. A matching plug shape alone does not establish electrical compatibility.
- Compare the complete original model reference with ML16-094 (ML16-094A) on the supplied unit's label.
- Match the 215 mm stroke, closed and extended mounting-point distances, fixing ends and mounting positions.
- Check electrical requirements, connector layout and cable routing.
- Do not assume other ML16 models or every unit marked ML16-094A has identical mounts and wiring.
Plug-and-play replacement applies only when the electrical system and mechanical installation match. If unsure, send CouchGuard clear photos of the original label, full actuator, mounting points and connector face for help identifying a suitable replacement.
Fault checks and safe replacement
A chair that will not move does not by itself confirm actuator failure. Power-supply, switch, cable and mechanism faults may also require checking. Disconnect mains power and any battery supply before replacement. Keep clear of moving mechanisms and use a qualified repairer if you cannot safely support or repair the chair. Do not force plugs, modify wiring or connect the actuator directly to mains power.
