Four-button and six-button replacement guidance
This handset can replace either version in a matching bed system. The six-button version's middle pair controls both actuators simultaneously. A four-button handset does not have those dedicated combined-movement buttons, so compare the button layout and functions required before ordering.
Compatibility checks
Match the original model, connector keying, pin arrangement, wiring and bed control system. The five-pin plug alone does not establish compatibility with every Okin bed. Send CouchGuard photos of the original handset label, button face and connector if you need help selecting the replacement.
Connection guidance
Disconnect mains and any battery supply before changing the handset. Align the keyed plug without forcing it, secure the cable clear of moving mechanisms and reconnect power only after checking connections. This is a wired handset, not a wireless remote requiring pairing.
Frequently asked questions
Can HS.08.08.03 replace a four-button handset?
Yes, in a compatible adjustable-bed system with matching model, connection and wiring.
Can it replace a six-button handset?
Yes, in a compatible system. A four-button replacement does not have the six-button version's dedicated combined-movement pair.
What do the six-button version's middle buttons do?
They control both actuators simultaneously.
What connector does this handset use?
A right-angle round five-pin plug. Match the original keying, pin arrangement and wiring.
Is this handset wireless?
No. It is a wired handset with a coiled cable.

Will it fit every Okin adjustable bed?

How can I confirm the correct replacement?
Send CouchGuard clear photos of the original label, button layout and connector face.
