Genuine Okin metal fork head / front clevis mount

Replace a damaged matching actuator end fitting with this genuine Okin metal fork head, also called a front clevis mount. It screws into the end of the actuator stroke tube and connects that end of the motor to the chair mechanism through the clevis-pin mounting arrangement.

Important installation guidance

Disconnect mains power and any battery supply, and support the chair mechanism safely before working on the actuator mount. Do not remove a clevis pin or release a loaded mechanism without appropriate support. Use an experienced repairer if you cannot safely support the mechanism.

Do not grip the very end of the fork head with multi-grips or similar tools. If such tools are needed, grip close to the threaded section. A left-hand thread tightens counter-clockwise and loosens clockwise. Do not force a mismatched thread. Check the pin and retaining hardware are correctly secured before returning the chair to service.
